Dolly Kao, B.Sc. |
Dolly Kao provides services to clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and mechanical sectors. These services include worldwide patent and trademark drafting and prosecution, IP management, infringement and validity opinions, and IP due diligence in the context of various commercial transactions. She also provides advice and services relating to: obtaining drug marketing approval under the Food and Drugs Act and Food and Drug Regulations; price control under the Patented Medicines Regulations, 1994; and listing and addressing patents on the Patent Register under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations.
For several years, Dolly has taught the patent validity and patent prosecution components of the Advanced Patent Law Course at the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law. She has also led sessions on patent infringement at a leading Canadian intellectual property law firm to help trainees qualify as patent agents in Canada.
Dolly is a lawyer and provides legal services in her capacity as a member of Currier+Kao LLP. She is conversational in Mandarin.
