Andrew has experience across a broad range of intellectual property areas, with a focus on patent drafting and prosecution in the medical device, electrical, software, financial services, and mechanical arts. As a registered patent and trademark agent with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Andrew has provided advice to clients in several industries, including telecommunications and financial services.
Andrew is a lawyer and practised intellectual property law for several years with one of Canada’s largest full-service law firms. Andrew provides intellectual property prosecution services through Perry+Currier Inc. and provides legal services through a separate law firm, Currier+Kao LLP.
From 2000-2007, Andrew held an appointment as adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario, teaching the advanced patent law course.
